HARDWOOD TIMBER: Naturale Elegance sources the hardwoods used in the construction of our floors wear layer from sustainable hardwood supplies.
BASE LAYER MATERIALS: We utilize two different materials depending on the collection: Eucalyptus veneers make up the center ply in our hardwood flooring. As one of the strongest and most stable species available, Eucalyptus is rapidly renewable and the most environmentally friendly wood product on Earth do to it being the fastest growing plant on record. Eucalyptus flooring can be twice as hard as oak floors and expand at half the rate of most hardwoods, making the wood fibers in Eucalyptus ideal for flooring. Birch is the highest grade of plywood core available to the flooring industry. Solid Birch veneers will grip fasteners and hold on tight, reducing squeaks and pops. Birch cores utilize an exterior grade adhesive that greatly enhances the moisture resistance of each ply, minimizing seasonal movement.
AIR QUALITY: Cold press melamine glue process adheres and hardens the veneers while providing the added advantage of increased moisture resistance. This process Meets or Exceeds Carb II Requirements for Air Quality.
SAWN CUT: Sawn cut material allows for thicker faces that can be resanded more than once. Sawn cut veneers can be adhered to a plywood core or milled into a 3/4″ solid plank.
SLICE CUT: Slice cut hardwood allows for a thick face cut while producing Traditional Hardwood visuals. Slice cut engineered floors use hardwood materials more efficiently while providing the highest possible stability in a hardwood plank.
ECO-ALUMINUM OXIDE FINISH: Nanotechnology incorporates the fortifying mineral of aluminum oxide into the protective top coats of finish providing a 25 year wear warranty
